Q: What’s the difference between the workshops on offer?

A: We have the R.A.D. Ballet Easter Holiday Workshop & the Dance Intensive Holiday Workshop. While most students in the same age bracket will do some workshops together (e.g. Acro, Hip hop), the difference is that when the R.A.D Ballet students are doing their ballet component, the Dance Intensive students will take place in other classes such as  Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary/Lyrical, Tap, Acrobatics, Strength & Stretch as well as Classical Ballet Variations.

Q: Which workshop should my child do?

A: Any dance student doing their RAD Ballet exams this year, must complete the 'Ballet Only Holiday Workshop’ form. Ballet students at King’s, NOT doing their RAD exams this year, have a choice of either the full Holiday Workshop or the Ballet Only Holiday Workshop. (Please note: spaces in the R.A.D. workshops are limited)

Q: My child isn’t doing their RAD exams, but can they still do the Ballet classes during the workshop.

A: As long as there is space in their level, ABSOLUTELY!

Q: Can I register my child to do JUST the ballet workshops.

A: Yes, follow the link here to register for ballet workshops only and view the timetable.

Q: My child doesn’t do Ballet, can they still do the holiday Workshop?

A: Absolutely! Instead of the Ballet classes, they will do  Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary/Lyrical, Tap, Acrobatics, Strength & Stretch as well as Classical Ballet Variations.

Q: What should they wear?

A: If you child is participating in ballet classes, they will need to have their ballet gear. For their other classes, they can wear their usual dance clothes. Keep in mind that for Acrobatics they should wear form-fitting clothes.

Q: How do I enrol and make payment for the holiday workshop?

A: Fill out the online registration form and you will be emailed an invoice based on your selections.
